Track & Facility Rules
STANDARD RULES:
NO pit riding no donuts or wheelies. If caught pit riding you will be suspended for one (1) week
Any machines on track prior to practice/race, unless cleared by official, will be disqualified.
After all races have completed racing for the day, NO machines are allowed back on the track.
Any verbal altercation on track property will result in one (1) week suspension. Any physical altercation on track property will result in a one (1) month suspension.
Parents are responsible for their children. If it is reported that another parent has been questioning someones child regarding anything in reference to their machine, that parent will be asked to leave the track immediately.
If a race is cancelled, no refunds or rescheduling.
Once the first quad has crossed the start line in practice, there will be NO refunds for anyone (if something happens to your quad and you cannot race) Flag people are track officials and should be treated with respect. Any track official (including flag person) will discuss any problems with the other track officials, and refer problem to the track committee for the final decision. The track committee will make the final decision of any problems at the end of the Oval and/or TT race. Do not expect the decision prior to the end of the race, these conflicts with racing. If this decision is not acceptable to you, you will be ask to leave the race track for this race, and no points or awards will be given to you.
Anyone on the track, other than track officials, will be asked to leave. Only E.M.T.s and track officials will be allowed on the track during a race.
Any rider(s) caught consuming alcohol, will be disqualified.
Any complaints must be presented to the track committee.
If you suspect someone is cheating, you have the right to lodge a protest. This must be done within 30 minutes of said race. The fee is $100.00 for a 2 stroke, $200.00 for a 4 stroke. Said machine(s) will be torn down by their owner and put back together by owner. If a protest is in effect, machines will not be able to return to their pit area without being accompanied by one of the track officials. Once a protest is lodged, a designated location will be set up for inspection. After inspection is completed, points and trophy (for the protested class) will be awarded. If you were found illegal you will lose all ac****ulated points for that class. If deemed legal, protest fee will be awarded to said rider
- If a mini rider is found illegal, the parents will be fined $100.00 for the first offense, $200.00 for second offense and so on. The mini rider will lose points and trophies for that day only. TT & OVAL REGISTRATION: Gates open at 4:00 PM. Gate admission is $10.00 per person 5 and under is free, unless racing. Tech inspection will open at 5:00 PM, registration begins at 5 PM. Oval & TT practice begins at 6:00 PM (4 laps each), with racing starting at 7:00 PM. A stock class means NO modifications.
NO switching of classes after practice once you are registered, thats it
You must be of age to run in your class and of age to ride the size of your machine (refer to ATVA National age limits).
Any rider racing in 2010 that is the age of 16 or under, must and will show proof of age (birth cert, permit, etc) before registering. Copy of birth certificates must have raised seals and/or notarized. NO exceptions. A rider can switch to a lower class if Track Officials determine this rider cannot compete in his/her current class (this can only be done once)
All machines must enter inspection station before registration.
- Maximum width is 51 inches- All cylinders must have cc stamped on them
There is a four (4) rider minimum per class
Rider signing up in more than 2 classes, 3rd class fee will be $15.00 except money classes.
All 90cc and under classes will pay $15.00 per class to race
OPEN MONEY class registration is $30.00
Pro Am Unlimited, Pro & Pro Lites class registration is $40.00
All other classes will pay $20.00 per class
TRACK RULES: An event stopped by the referee before 60% of the race is complete will be re-started from the beginning. Any race stopped with two (2) laps or less completed will require a complete restart in the original positions.
If it is necessary to stop the race after at least 60 per cent of the total distance has been covered, the race may be considered completed. Riders will be scored according to their position on the lap preceding the one during which the race was stopped. At the track officials discretion, the race may be resumed and riders will be started in single file in the positions they held on the lap before the race was stopped.
A riders age on January 1 will determine his/her age for the year. However, a rider may move to the next higher class if he/she will be eligible to do so at any time during the year, but once a rider moves to the higher class in AMA or non AMA competition, he/she may not move back to the lower age class. Riders are encouraged to determine at the beginning of the points season which age class they will participate in for the points season /year. Points earned in a lower age class will not transfer to the higher age class. No downsizings to meet the class limit (This class only.)
Starting positions are not transferable from one rider to another.
Any showing off, hot dogging and/or wheelies on the track will cause rider to be disqualified.
NO parents or non-track personnel are allowed at the starting line or on the track during the race. This includes staging area.
If anyone wants to position themselves on the track to take photos, it must be cleared with one of the track personnel, and they will be required to wear a yellow/orange vest while doing so. NO exceptions. Everyone will remain behind fence/ropes while race is under way.
If a rider goes down, you must avoid hitting them (if possible) and/or the flag person.
Equipment Standards: All riders will wear helmet, gloves, goggles, boots, long sleeve shirts, long pants and chest protectors. NO exceptions
All machines must have all bolts tight, nerf bars (or foot pegs), and a working tether
There will be NO tying down suspension with straps or ropes, only bolted chain can be used, but must be inspected and approved.
All quads must have a legible, vertical number plate on both front and back of machine, or you wont be scored. All ATVs must have a rear grab rail. The numbers shall be a minimum of 6 blocked numbers (no shading or outlining). The number plates and numbers shall be of contrasting colors, clear, legible and have a professional appearance. All numbers must correspond; the number plates shall not be mounted to the handlebars for safety. No wood or metal number plates.
All riders must have helmet w/goggles on when operating quad anywhere on the facility.
No lights, license plates, brackets, mirrors, glass or equipment posing a hazard to the rider or other competitors is allowed.
Youth classes may not exceed the maximum listed class displacement.
With rider in normal riding position with hands on handlebars, there must be a bend in the elbows; fingers must reach all control levers. A rider in a standing position on foot pegs must have 3 inches of space between seat and rider inseam.
All ATVs must be equipped with a functional tether type, mechanical kill device attached to the vehicle and to the rider so that the engine ignition is cut off at any time when the rider becomes separated from the ATV.
Suitable OEM floorboards or side bars, known as Nerf Bars, are required either above or below the bottom frame rail in dirt track racing. They must be of a closed loop design and not extend beyond a point of widest dimension of the vehicle when measured with a straight edge touching the front and rear tires. The bars should be covered with a material so as to prevent riders feet from going below the bars. Webbing or plastic mesh are accepted materials. No sharp protruding or open tubing ends are allowed. The bars should be securely mounted (welded or bolted) to the frame.
All ATVs in competition shall have functional front and rear brakes unless the ATV was manufactured with just rear brakes. The machine must have all brakes as originally manufactured or better. The machine also must have a self-closing throttle. Brakes that operate by friction on the tire or wheel rim are prohibited.
All front & rear bumpers must be of a tubular design with no sharp protruding edges.
If you break down on the track during a race, you must get your machine off the race lane ASAP, only the rider can work on the machine. If machine leaves the track it will not be allowed to return to the track to complete their race.
Flag Colors: Green - Start/restart
Indicates the start of the race or a restart after a caution period.
Red Stop
Indicates a complete race stoppage due to an unsafe condition.
Yellow Caution, Slow and Hold
Position indicates unsafe riding conditions on the track. Riders must slow down, ride with caution and hold their relative position. No passing is allowed under yellow but riders may close the field behind the leader.
White Last Lap
Indicates to the rider that they are entering the last lap of the race.
Blue - Indicates that the signaled rider is being overtaken by a faster rider, hold your line,
Black Move into pit Area
Indicates that the signaled rider must go immediately to the pit area.
Any rider that does not follow flag colors will be disqualified.STAGING RULES/ STARTING POSITION: Drawing for lane choice will determine starting position in heat race. Riders finishing position in the heat race gives choice in the feature race-starting lane.
Riders will have a line up order and set up in pre stage.
All riders will be at pre stage and ready to line up at the starting line when called.
Any rider on start line who is not ready or cant get started will have a 2 min. warning. The starter will proceed to start the race when time is up. If you are not ready when the light changes you will have to be started before the first lap is completed.
Any class with 10 or more riders may be split, and an A heat and a B heat will be run (this will alleviate 10 or more riders all on the starting line which is too risky and unsafe). How you finish in the heat will determine your place in staging the main.
If you jump the line you will be sent back 20 feet behind the last row, and NO riders in the second row will be moved up
Start line cannot be touched prior to start of race. Any rider that touches the start line, will get sent back to last row.
There will be NO heating up tires on start line (there will be a designated area for heating up tires). Any rider caught heating tires on starting line will have to go back to last row.
A rider must run in heat to qualify for the main, but may push quad in main event.
A rider that does not finish main will get a DNF and last place points.LAP INFO:Dirt Bikes & 50cc 4 heat laps, 6 main laps

At the track officials discretion the number of laps for Heats and Mains may be changed if track or weather conditions warrant.

Those riders that complete all rounds in the same class will be awarded 10 bonus points at end of year. TROPHY INFO & MONEY CLASSES: All riders in 90cc and under will receive trophies for 1st, 2nd & 3rd place. Fourth place (4th) and lower will receive a racing medallion.
All other classes will be one (1) trophy, for every three riders, except money payout. Class #1 - Pro - $100 1st, $75 2nd, $50 3rd (4 riders min if there are not at least 4 riders registered, there will a 70% payback)
Class #2 - Pro Lites - - $75 1st, $50 2nd, $25 3rd (4 riders min - if there are not at least 4 riders registered, there will a 70% payback)
Class #3 - Pro Am Unlimited- $100 1st, $50 2nd, $25 3rd (4 riders min - if there are not at least 4 riders registered, there will a 70% payback-OPEN MONEY- (201cc-Open) (2 & 4 Stroke allowed) NO PROS ALLOWED 80% payback. 1st place onlyAll riders must complete 4 point races, in one class, to be scored for yearend trophies.
